Usually it's against my religion to walk on wet trees (extremely slippery), but we used the rock in the middle of the stream and carefully made our way (uphill) on the long trunk.
Earlier that morning, we had walked up MUCH higher up this creek to cross it towards the ridge.

It's demanding, the two 12,000-ft passes (Engineer & Cinnamon) require a high-clearance 4x4 vehicle, but the unparalleled rewards including pristine mountain views, hiking trails, camping opportunities, and ample solitude.
