Over Grand Traverse Bay - April 2, 2010

Having grown up in eastern PA and eating a TON of pasties over the years, I was amazed to see them in Traverse City, Michigan! Including a quick stop to Cousin Jenny's to check out their version. Definitely a bit different than the pasties I was used to eating but REALLY tasty!!

One of my favorite parts of flying is having a window seat and having amazing views out the window such as this! This photo was taken during a September 2010 trip to Traverse City, Michigan.

I was up in Traverse City for a few days and my husband and I went wine tasting. I was surprised to see how many wineries Michigan has. The drive visiting the wineries was very scenic and I knew I had to stop and snap a few shots. Here is one of them

 

I like the black and white best but the color version is great as well. I will post that one later. I tend to always like black and whites better. I think it adds more emotion to photographs.

 

I was bummed that I was not able to get any sunset shots. I was pleasantly surprised though when I saw my vineyard shots and think they made up for the sunset shots I was lacking.
