I found this house by accident. It's a blatant pastiche of Antoni Gaudi architecture & at that time in an amazing beach location. By now it’s probably surrounded by new development. Scanned from an Ektachrome slide, Olympus OM.

It is always a magic moment to watch a young hind in the morning sun! This one was a poser!
In the beautiful winter evening as the river Thames flows under a spread of deep blue sky what could be better than a pretty and relaxing view of the river while relishing food and drinks in the all lit up pubs and restaurants.

The next shot in my #Lanzarote series. The lagoon called El Golfo is incredibly fascinating as you can see so many vibrant and vivid colors. Especially the #green water on the left was really that intense. The challenge was to capture nature's stunning dynamic range in one shot.

Ronda is a stunning little village in Malaga, Spain. It is built on two hills and connected by one of the world's most dramatic stunning bridges. I will post a picture of the bridge soon. This picture was taken at sunrise. Because Ronda is so high, you can see for miles and miles across the Spanish countryside.
For this image, I blended shots of the sunset and the blue hour as well as frames that I exposed for the city lights and the water. This is an amazing technique that I recently learned and I love the magic mood that it infuses into the images. This cityscape was shot in Vienna. I hope you enjoy it.

Adult bird, head completely bald; Throat, featherless. Throat color, yellow; There is redness in the face.
Juvenile birds have some feathers on the head and neck, but are conspicuously bald. Throat color, whitish. And there is no redness on the face.

Had the unique experience of eating sushi at Sushi Daiwa in Tsukiji Fish market in Tokyo. The market is going to be relocated by the end of the year and such experiences are going to become so much more difficult to experience. We waited in the line for about 90 minutes to get this hand rolled sushi, it was totally worth it.
