Wishful thinking and a neon sign have come together in yet another tour merchandise idea, boyshort underwear ... another proposed addition to The Mound's band merchanding arsenal ... don't look at me, I'm just a singer in a rock-n-roll(?) band ... among other things ...

This idea is per co-dictator the spanglemaker's wish and member guapa's photo after their recent trip /s to London (see his wish and her photo of the original neon sign here: DSC02957)...

If this passes the approval process I'm sure it will warm up those cool Spring nights on The Mound tour bus.

Additionally, it is hoped that this hot number will heat up merchandising sales and help defray the maintenance and fuel costs of the tourbus ... maybe even replenish the rapidly diminishing supply of kahlua :D!

66142 is deep in the heart of Avonmouth Docks with the 0933 Northolt to Severnside Sita bin liner.

The service had arrived in the docks via Hallen Marsh, she then runs up to St Andrews Road by the large silo in the top left hand corner. The loco runs round before proceeding back to Hallen Marsh Junction. The service then reverses over the points in the foreground where she accesses the Severn Beach line so she can then proceed to the incinerators at Severnside Sita.

Phew !

The Napa garbage empties have just departed Klamath Falls, Oregon, heading south for another load of trash. BNSF operated this train from the landfill reload at Roosevelt, Washington to Klamath Falls, where it was interchanged to Union Pacific. UP will take the train to Suisun-Fairfield, California, and hand the train off to California Northern. CFNR forwarded the train to a waste transfer facility in Napa.

This operation began in 1995 by CFNR, Southern Pacific and Burlington Northern. This train styles motive power representing the original two Class I partners in the service. Operation of the train was discontinued the following year.

For WAH who are visiting our trash as art

we recycle and compost everything we can.

We are blessed with a garden to compost in and space to store recycling - and more and more places taking more and more stuff. My hubby took all the tetrapaks and plastic bags to the council recycling site today. I need to drop in all the bread bags and crisp packets to a different site this week also!
