With Easter and Spring having arrived (although it is trying to snow today) there is an abundance of egg shells and deadheaded hydrangeas lying around waiting to be thrown away.

It's Easter Monday and my rubbish/ trash is a gold bell on a red ribbon. Any guesses what that might be from? :) HMM
This young alligator wanted to eat the fish that was entangled in the netting. The netting is left over from grass that has been planted in huge rolls. It is said to disintegrate after a while, but how long does it take and how many animals will die entangled in the mesh? This alligator was lucky. The netting only lay across the short incoming teeth at the rear of the mouth. When it swam away the net fell out.
Say that three times really fast! Okay it’s not as good as “The Steaming Steamer Sunk” but still a tongue twister.

Created by Portuguese artivist Bordalo II. The Sumatran Tiger sculpture is made entirely from trash collected all over Singapore and measures 10m long and 7m tall.
This switcher of the Maryland Waste Management facility at Annapolis Jct works hard every weekday morning switching trash cars into and out of the building to get loaded with garbage. On the rainy morning of Nov 11th, the gates for Brock Ridge Rd activate as the SW8 gives its all to get a long cut up the hill, to shove them into the yard shortly thereafter. Occasionally around mid-morning, their GP10 will take the loads to the CSX interchange directly behind the photographer, and retrieve empties in the afternoon. From there, CSX B738 runs a Mon-Fri trash train to Sealston, VA.
