Blitzen Trapper is a Portland, Oregon-based experimental alternative country/folk band signed to Sub Pop Records. Formed in 2000, the band currently operates as a sextet, with Eric Earley (guitar/vocals), Erik Menteer (guitar/keyboard), Brian Adrian Koch (drums/vocals), Michael VanPelt (bass), and Marty Marquis (guitar, keyboards, vocals).
My friend Stuart joined us on our afternoon walk. Trapper was thrilled by this development. Stuart made a side trip while we were walking in the park and here we see Trapper anxiously looking after him. He actually dragged me part of the way towards where Stuart was going. He didn't even noticed he'd wrapped his lead around himself. This was right before he started the whining. The hell with me or the stick I was trying to tempt him with. Jeez, where's the love Trap?!

Nelson developed a zoo of animals he trapped in the woods including alligators, raccoons, snakes and other creatures. After tourist season, he sold the animal hides for profit. He had a contract to provide pelts to Sears-Roebuck at one time.
