Doit se hurler en mode "Good Morning Vietnam!", bien sûr ;-)
L'angoisse suscitée par le coronavirus pousse de nombreuses personnes à délaisser les transports publics au profit de leur voiture, du vélo ou tout simplement de la marche à pieds !
En début de pandémie, plusieurs pays ont d'ailleurs déconseillé de se déplacer en train, tram ou bus, parfois considérés comme des sources de contamination.
Mais quand est-il vraiment ?

Cette jeune dame a profité de son trajet en autobus pour se reposer les yeux. Cette photo a été prise avec mon TLR Yashica-D.
c'est une première en France, ce bus à double articulations entièrement électrique pouvant transporter 150 passagers se recharge automatiquement à certaines stations.

Jeudi 10 février – Dernière chance d’avoir un métro pas trop loin de la maison. J’espère que je le verrai un jour.
Le bout de la ligne jaune du #métro de #Montréal à la station #BerryUQAM. J'aime cette photo en raison des textures qu'on y retrouve.

Heavy snowfall in and around Amsterdam since years. CAF tram 3051 is doing fine as you can see here. At the time I took this picture it was 0° C and the traffic on the road as on the railways around Amsterdam was very disrupted. No trains were running shortly after this photo.
This CAF Urbos tram of the GVB 15G series (3001-3072) has been delivered to the GVB at 10/06/2021 and deployed for the first time on 27/12/2022 on tram line 19. This 3051, which had been out of service as a parts supplier since its test run to keep the series running, was the last of the series to finally enter service on 27-12-2022, a year and a half after delivery.

Alfred Mongy
Le Grand Boulevard
Après son départ des services municipaux, il réalise avec Arthur Stoclet le grand projet de la percée du Grand Boulevard entre Lille, Roubaix et Tourcoing. Avec les ingénieurs Roger Francq et Léon Francq, Alfred Mongy est l'un des fondateurs en 1900 de la Compagnie des Tramways et Voies Ferrées du Nord, qui met en œuvre la construction du Grand Boulevard de Lille-Roubaix-Tourcoing. Le projet paraît démesuré à l'époque, mais le 5 décembre 1909, le boulevard, large de 50 m, est inauguré13. Ce boulevard accueille sur deux voies, conçues par l'ingénieur Léon Francq, un tramway électrique rapide qui sera surnommé « le Mongy ». De nombreuses modifications ont été apportées mais deux lignes du Mongy existent toujours actuellement avec quelques mises en souterrain aux passages cruciaux.
Distinction :
Alfred Mongy est nommé chevalier dans l'ordre national de la Légion d'honneur en 1892 et fait officier d'académie en 1880 puis officier de l’instruction publique en 1887.

Alfred Mongy fut ingénieur de la ville de Lille puis du Département et fondateur de l'ELRT (le tramway de l'Electrique Lille Roubaix Tourcoing).
Né en 1840 et mort en 1914, cet ingénieur est surtout célèbre pour l'ouverture le 4 décembre 1909 du Grand Boulevard qui relie Lille à Roubaix et Tourcoing et du tramway qui y circule. En quelques années, le projet fut réalisé, grâce aux travaux menés par Alfred Mongy, à qui l'on doit cette métonymie célèbre et employée au quotidien par des milliers de voyageurs: "Je vais prendre le Mongy". En effet, si les rames utilisées aujourd'hui ont remplacé les anciennes, il n'empêche que le tracé du tramway actuel est quasiment le même que celui qui avait été décidé à l'époque.

Le journal Le Progrès du Nord et du Pas-de-Calais dans son n° 339 de son édition du dimanche 5 décembre 1909, relate ainsi l'inauguration des nouvelles lignes de tramways du Grand Boulevard Lille-Roubaix-Tourcoing.

Effectivement il peut paraître assez étonnant qu'Alfred Mongy ait été absent lors de l'inauguration de "Son" Grand Boulevard le 4 décembre 1909.
Mais il sera présent le dimanche suivant pour l'inauguration de "Son" tramway.

Une photo de la station Place des arts du métro de Montréal croqué sur le vif la semaine dernière. Les jeux d'éclairage sur les murs briquelés donnent une atmosphère particulièrement vivante à cette station. Cela fait certainement changement du beige qui devait être à la mode à la fin des années 60 alors qu'on bâtissait les autres arrêts du réseau souterrain.

Breitling is a heavy user for commercial livery. This is the Summer edition on the Leidseplein in the center of Amsterdam deployed on tram line 12. The livery and message is almost the same like the ones we have seen before.

From 27/10/2025 till 23/04/2026 reconstruction work will be carried out at Alexanderplein. As a result, trams will be unable to cross Alexanderplein, and trams 1, 7, 14, and 19 will be operating on modified routes, and tram 24 will not be running at all. Tram line 14 will take the route of line 24 instead and it's route will be: Centraal Station - Artis - Routersstraat - Frederiksplein - route to VU Medisch Centrum of line 24.
Here, tram 14 is on it's way to Centraal Station but cannot turn left from Roetersstraat to the Plantage Middenlaan but has to make the loop to Plantage Parklaan to continue to the center.
Combino 2094 with the livery of supermarket chain Dirk waiting to continue to Amsterdam Centraal and coming from VU Medical Center. An ugly livery that looks like a cheaply made advertising brochure.
The 2094 was delivered to the GVB on 04/08/2003 and first put into service on 02/09/2003 on line 3.
