A three inch detail from a blue glass vase that resides in our bathroom. The lighting inside was provided by Adaptalux Studio with one white lighting arm.
I shot this tiny electric flame through an old translucent globe - for Macro Mondays theme; "Translucent". HMM!
Dihydrogen monoxide is a tasteless, colourless and odourless Translucent chemical compound also known as H2O.

Taken during a photoshoot at our camera club. The flowers are dried and placed on a light table. This helps with the translucency,
I myself like the delicate look and feel.
Macromondays theme translucent. This is paint on night light holder made of glass. Cropped to fit size.
Apple behind a scratched plastic plate. So no the subject itself is translucent, but the surface in front of it.
A dried sycamore leaf, so dry it is almost ready to crumble. The textures and translucent quality struck me as so beautiful, I thought that a mono version might capture the fragility.

Cropped to position rose better. Then used normal oil painting effect at 75%. Finished with a fine yellow-orange border. Located in front yard of my next door neighbor. Shot May 14th on a warm, sunny day around 4 pm.
Created for Tim Noonan of the "Shock of the New/Award Tree/ Max Fudge/Progressive Works" association of groups, for his Birthday.
The base image, across the entire background is a wide pano ( not sabotaged though ) of Grand Central Station on 42nd Street. The rest of the layered images come from all over the city - The West Village, Chelsea, the Highline, Hudson Yards, Fifth Avenue, Bergdorff and Goodman and 59th Street. All of these images were taken on my trip to New York June 7th to the 18th, 2019.
Only one Pano-Sabotage image was used - a mannequin in the Fifth Ave window of Bergdorff & Goodman almost directly centre.
To create a Birthday image for Tim I slightly "homaged" his style with it's complex layering of many translucent urban images and his rich, high key colour palette.
