Safeguard es la combinación de Jetfire y Jetstorm de Animated.
Debo confesar que al principio no me motivaba esta figura, pero al tenerla la verdad tiene su gracia y están bien diseñados, sobre todo los modos robot y la combinación de ambos.

Safeguard is the combination of Animated Jetfire and Jetstorm.
I have to confess that in the beginning I didn't like these figures, but now that I have them, they looks pretty good, they are very well designed, specially the robot modes and the combination.
A lot of the minibots (small Autobots) from the 1st year were rated as being very strong. Gears was-and Brawn was second only to Optimus Prime!

Octane is another Decepticon triple changer, here in its Classic version, or Henkei more exactly, that really it's not much different than the Hasbro version.
The transformations are very interesting and clever. A very nice figure.

I'm a little disappointed of the Animated Soundwave character and figure. The character appears too little in the series and the figure is disproportionate.
This kid (the transformer) looks like all the rest of the kids on the block. Lets see if he will stand the test of time.

Takara decide romper con la premisa de que Starscream es un jet o nave y aunque le da ciertos rasgos similares en modo robot, como las alas simuladas, en este caso se transforma en un vehículo.
Es la tercera figura Alternity que compro y debo decir que lamentablemente es la que me gusta menos. Creo que tiene algunos problemas de diseño y de fabricación, ya que algunas piezas quedan flojas y otras no encajan bien en modo robot.

Takara decides to break the premise that Starscream is a jet or a spaceship and, altough he has some similar features in robot mode, like the wing simulation, in this case, he transforms into a sports car.
He's the third Alternity figure that I bought, and sadly he's the one I like least. I think he has some design issues and manufacturing problemas, some pieces are loose and others doesn't fit well in robot mode.
