The decepticons disguised as the Autobot Longarm to infiltrate himself into the Autobot Elite Guard.
The robot modes are very cool, but the alternate modes lack a lot of work
A gift from my girlfriend, bought in a Toys 'r' us in New York.
This is an super-rare Transformer, modeled after the Chevy Aveo. Some might remember the G1 Swerve? Lucky if you can find this discontinued guy on ebay under $80 USD.
Anyway, this figure is a remarkable execution by Hasbro. The articulation, transformation, robot mode, head, details - all some of the best I've seen or gotten my paint brushes on.
His alt mode was painted with HoK:KK red metallic, then clear coated with platinum and dorado dreams (both also HOK paints) details were done with Testors model masters enamels. I even experimented a bit and did some black washes with ACRYLIC and alcohol (as suggested by my local hobby shop guy) Works well on freshly dried enamels.

Smokescreen, like most of the Henkei, is more G1 and cartoon accurate.
The Universe version has yellow paint details that I don't like, and also the numbers are very ugly. But this Henkei version is lovely.

I wanted a shot of this dude standing next to JoAnn (my sister-in law ) but we didn't give him any money so he just kinda walked away and turned his head - so I shot him anyway . LOL Spiderman did the same thing except he didn't walk away - he just sat down - so I didn't shoot him

Los monsterbots, a pesar de que no aparecieron en la serie animada, siempre me llamaron la atención, más que todo desde que tuve a Doublecross cuando era niño.
El único que me faltaba era Repugnus y gracias a un amigo ya lo tengo.
Está en buen estado aunque le falta el arma, pero todavía le funcionan las chispas.
Curiosamente parece que tiene un defecto de fábrica porque las garras deberían ir para abajo. Trataré de arreglarlas.

Despite the monsterbots didn't appear in the G1 animated show, they always caught my attention, specially since I got Doublecross when I was a child.
The one that I was missing was Repugnus, and thanks to a friend now I got him.
His is very good conditions, but without his weapon. His sparks work well.
Curiously he seems to have a factory issue, the claws should be downwards instead of upwards. I will try to repair him later.
