No tenía ningún casete autobot y no quise comprar el paquete de los 4 Encore porque ya tenía a Buzzsaw y a Ravage, así que conseguí a Eject y a Rewind en eBay sueltos a buen precio, aunque tienen algunos defectos de pintura.

I started collecting Transformers in 1984 at age 11. My very first Transformer was Jetfire (which I still have) and many of my first figures were gifts from my parents. My childhood best friend and I collected and traded Transformers for many years and spent hours writing scripts and casting our other action figures for home-made stop-motion videos that pitted Autobots and Deceptions against Godzilla, He-Man or GI Joe. Optimus Prime always prevailed.

 

I believe that much of what I love about design - myth, narrative, color and play - is embodied in the Transformers toy line and why to this day I still collect.

Decidí que voy a tratar de comprar los Henkei que pueda en lugar de los Universe Classic Series, por sus mejores acabados.

Sunstreaker es uno de los mejores moldes que he visto en la serie Classics/Universe/Henkei. Un excelente homenaje al personaje G1. Además comparándolo con el de Hasbro, estoy muy satisfecho con el de Takara.

Sunstreaker is one of the best molds in the Classics/Universe/Henkei series. An excellent homage to the G1 character. Also, I'm very pleased with this Takara Henkei instead of the Hasbro versions.

Breakdown (Car Crash) - Car mode by Andrew Green

Breakdown is the first of the third-party Fansproject Stunticons. Pictured in his race car mode.

 

Called Car Crash (CA-09) on the box, he's part of the FP Causality line. He's designed to be part of a Transformers Classics collection.

 

He is quite small compared to standard deluxes, but matches well to the scale of existing FP combiners (Bruticus or Superion).

 

Overall he looks nice, but does have issues pegging together in car mode. Furthermore, his combined mode options are a mystery at this point.

Bot Shots Optimus Prime and Bumblebee - Vehicle modes by Andrew Green

Bot Shots Optimus Prime (Jump Shot) and Bumblebee (Flip Shot) in their vehicle modes.

 

These are from the newer style of Bot Shots. I received these two as a gift.

 

Optimus Prime leaps into the air, but rarely lands on his feet.

 

Bumblebee flips backwards and occasionally lands on his feet thanks to the flip bar used in his gimmick.

Transformers 3rd party: Bruticus by Jaqio

Jinbao's Oversized KO of another 3rd party's version of Britucus.

 

My first time delving into the 3rd party arena, and i am very impressed.

Some joints are loose, but i just tightened the screws in those areas. Plus once Bruticus is form he can be hard to balance as it is very heavy. Particularly up top.

But once you figure that out, it's good to go.

 

Now i'm hooked!😄

Takara decide romper con la premisa de que Starscream es un jet o nave y aunque le da ciertos rasgos similares en modo robot, como las alas simuladas, en este caso se transforma en un vehículo.

 

Es la tercera figura Alternity que compro y debo decir que lamentablemente es la que me gusta menos. Creo que tiene algunos problemas de diseño y de fabricación, ya que algunas piezas quedan flojas y otras no encajan bien en modo robot.

Takara decides to break the premise that Starscream is a jet or a spaceship and, altough he has some similar features in robot mode, like the wing simulation, in this case, he transforms into a sports car.

 

He's the third Alternity figure that I bought, and sadly he's the one I like least. I think he has some design issues and manufacturing problemas, some pieces are loose and others doesn't fit well in robot mode.
