This is Takara Tomy's second take on Hot Rod / Rodimus. As such, it is a much better representation of the character. Overall it is great looking and fun toy.

Transformers Animated Brawn and Soundwave. These deluxe class toys are in their SUV modes.

With these two toys side by side, you can see what alterations and additions I made for Brawn. Not so noticeable changes include smoother side panels/arms, and a simpler chest.

Note that this Soundwave has his Reprolabels applied for extra detail.

Ultimate Swoop

G1 Swoop is a brick. I took an original Generation 1 figure, but mixed in with a variety of parts, giving him improved articulation.

Swoop's now got articulation at his shoulders (via hinge joints), elbows (hinge joints), his forearms extend out for bot mode, hips (ball joints) and knees (hinge joints)

Swoop was base coat painted with House of Kolors and detailed with Testors Model Masters (enamel) This version of the Dinobots, I went with a more metallic gold rather than the cartoonish yellow-gold used on the last set.

These are Transformer figures of my two sons. Or should I say what is left of the once huge collection and they are being lost into pieces everyday with every new battle they play. Modern Transformer figures are great but they have far too many parts and too much detail and somewhat fragile and they are really not for real kids. I thought I took a photo before they are all gone. There are so many bits and pieces found many different places and boxes in the house so if I took time I may reconstruct a few more bots but…..
