On 23 July 2017, Transdev Blazefield held The Big Burnley Bus Bash at its Queensgate depot in Burnley to launch its newly named subsidiary, The Burnley Bus Company, and its £4.4 million investment in thirty new Mainline branded Optare Versas for routes M1 (Padiham-Burnley-Barnoldswick), M2 (Clitheroe-Burnley-Colne), M3 (Accrington-Burnley-Trawden) and M4 (Burnley-Colne-Keighley).
The new 41 seat buses were designed following “Make My Mainline” market research with customers and feature a bright new livery designed by Best Impressions, free superfast 4G Wi-Fi, USB power at every seat, with wireless charging for compatible phones, digital displays with countdown to departure timers at key points, next stop screens and audio announcements for key stops, an illuminated Mainline logo on the front, a bigger litter bin, high back seating with leather headrests, mini tables at some seats and roofline LED lighting.
One of the new Optare Versas, 250 (YJ17FWN), was photographed outside Queensgate depot.

Transdev assimilated Northern Blue into its Burnley & Pendle operation in September 2009. Twelve months on and it's good to see that some members of the Northern Blue fleet continue in service.
Transdev H147GGS (977) is a Leyland Olympian with Northern Counties Palatine 1 bodywork. Seen leaving Keighley depot, H147GGS was new to BTS of Borehamwood.

The newest arrival at the Transdev York yard is Volvo B10BLE Wright Renown Y151 HRN 1051... this bus had formerly been with Keighley and District but had been used temporarily with Harrogate and District. It arrived in York on Monday evening, but these photos of mine are the only ones of it on Flikr with York..... It has bene painted into the base colours of the Unibus livery, but needs to be vinyl'd up and have fleetnames applied (presumably the Wifi and Cycle Alert equipment has already been fitted to this). Also note this is the only bus in York to bear the new Transdev logo (though hopefully a better version of it will be aplied, as this red-on-white version looks too temporary for my liking). At least 1 more is due to York Unibus, and my estimated guess is that it'll be 1049.
