Following on from groundwork set during 2015, Transdev continues to refresh the image of its operations for 2016 complete with three new rebrands for Harrogate, Keighley and Blackburn. Part of the brand new order for Lancashire United as part of the rebranding exercise for the local fleet, YJ16 DVV is one of 18 brand new air-conditioned (Thermo-King) 11.7m long Optare Versa single deckers, complete with a new livery of 2-tone blue and new fleetnames of "The Blackburn Bus Company". 16 are branded for routes 6 and 7 whilst 236 and 237 are unbranded. Interestingly, despite Optare offering a new revised style for the rear end, Transdev have specifically ordered these Versa's with the conventional rear end complete with 'Spider Eyes' rear light clusters. The drivers cab is standard Optare fayre, though with wood panel effect flooring and the driver retains a leather seat.
