Mei Mei: yea, actually Mom’s right. i was sitting next to her and the bank bitch was being a bitch. it wasn’t that difficult of a request, we’ve done this many times. it’s a simple cash my checks please. but she kept looking at our car, our hair, lack of style. i guess we weren’t presentable enough for her?
Robert Kan: ok, i will go there now. give me the damn checks. i will go there with the S500 Benz and scream the hell out of her. tell me her name and how she looks like. [grabs checks and heads to the bank]
[Robert Kan asks for the same thing Dr. Maryann Kan DDS FAGD MAGD asks for and it all gets done. He went to the same bank woman.]
[Notes] If someone is that stupid, there’s no point in proving your existence to them. i’d speak to the manager of the bank about the issue. come back at another time or just change banks. if someone is judging you on your hairdo, whether you’re wearing make up or not, what kind of clothes you’re wearing, your race, gender, the car you drive, the way you speak; is it really worth the time and effort to please them? you’re trying to impress someone who is a bitch or asshole by nature. if they don’t like you because of they are being superficial, why waste your time trying to gain their approval. you’re trying to please the wrong one.
Getting fancier clothes, having nicer hair, getting more degrees, fancier cars, wearing more make up, etc. should be done because YOU want that. If these things make YOU happy, great! If you’re trying to impress others and want them to like you because of all of this, you may find yourself surrounded by incredibly superficial “friends.” if you’re unable to acquire these things in the future, and all your “friends” like you because of the stuff you have; you may find yourself feeling very alone. you spent your whole life trying to impress the wrong people.
