I have an idea for paradise. Lets go get a couple of HUGE floating trampolines and put them out in the middle of the Caribbean so after having some girlie drinks we can bounce on top of the ocean during sunset…

I took this photo back in May! With all the recent stress, I never got around to posting it. My creativity has been up and down lately (unintentional trampoline pun) but I'm hoping things will improve soon.

This is a photo of a bracket that holds the legs and body of my son's trampoline together.

After searching the house and garden for textured items to photograph this week I noticed this and saw that it shows up different colours when viewed from an angle. I realised that I would need to focus stack if taking from this angle as even at f22 not much of the bracket would stay in focus. The bracket is just over an inch in width.

After an initial attempt yesterday which I was happy with except that I thought I had moved the focus too much at one point during the shooting process which would show a blurry line across the image. I shot this again this morning and found I had to tape sheets of paper to the trampoline to diffuse the sunlight.

There is a blemish on the bracket but I decided to leave it in just for a bit more interest.

At home - outdoor

An example of circular panning of the camera at a relatively low shutter speed - hope you like it. This one was taken at 1/40th second. I had to stand on a stepladder to get the height right and manually fire the shutter at the right time followed by tracking the movement by rotating the camera by hand rapidly at the precise pivot point (otherwise the circular effect disappears, the subject blurs more etc).

We were playing the game where the person lying on the trampoline is "it" until they manage to touch with their legs someone jumping over them. Then there is a new "it"!
