The purpose of the event is to increase awareness of & encourage donations for the support line of the Alzheimer Society of Finland www.muistiliitto.fi/eng/
and create a collaborative reminder for us all to do something special for training our brains during the beginning new season
Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

sometimes it is funny to do some school-stuff again. so yesterday in the evening i grapped the maths-schoolbook of my son (13 years old) and tried to do one of the problem out of his book. as you can see above they are doing algebra right at the moment and it reminds me of my own time at school....i LOOOVED algebra! for me it was great to sit and try to solve the problem.... this is not such a difficult example... but after 30 years out of school it was fun to do...and i was proud that i brought home the bacon! ;o)))
and you??? can you tell me the value of x?
(i'm curious about how many comments i will get on something like this....)
;o)))
Another fun work find. This was wrapped around a stack o' books, and it made me laugh, so I had to carefully fold it as not to make any creases over the writing and take it out to my car!
‘Prevention is better than cure’ the phrase is accurately applicable for brain health. We can prevent our mental health from declining while there still is time. Early interventions can help preserve our future and staying busy is one smart move.
Being busy in a combination of multiple day-to-day activities has a significantly strong effect on memory decline. Engaging in activities such as cooking, playing cards or games, reading, walking, or other exercises, doing word puzzles, sewing or knitting, volunteer/charity work etc can play a role in mental health decline. Who knew, ‘busy’ could be so big?
