I got the message that a close family member of mine was nearing his death, and therefore I was allowed to leave Ghent to go back to my home town of Enschede, in the Netherlands.
This picture was taken at 7:30 in the morning, during what would normally be rush hour. I have never seen this platform this quiet, even during the quietest hours.

Yeah,its cropped,i cropped the picture to give it a more ''cinematic'' look also i converted to a high contrast monochrome,first of all again for the ''cinematic'' look and also to less the amount of noise.
Built in 1917 by Pacific Electric. Now an art gallary in a city park where it was moved for freeway construction several years ago.

After a renovation in 1992 is the old stationbuilding converted in a tropical botanical garden.
New configuration of my train station and iron works canopy. A terminus rather than the through station. This rotates the orientation to 90deg giving a much better visual appearance.
Going back into the archives, here's a shot of the restored train depot in Luray, Virginia, from a visit in 2010. I'm not sure how old the structure is, but it currently houses the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center. Information from a local tourist website.
