I am moving my digital library from my old account to this one.
I have a grandchild that thinks all his grandparents do is have fun riding around and watching wildlife. It's not all just fun and games I tell him.
Part of what my wife and I do on our morning excursions is training wildlife. Here we are training this young fawn how to pose even when his heart is racing.
Seems my injury is subsiding and just in time! Let the training begin for this years adventure. But this is not just the physical side of training but also the technical...I have a new camera!

This Western Gull (my "pet") has been training me to give him snacks when he behaves in amusing ways.
During this lesson I knock 3 times on the table and he will jump up and alight on the top. Somehow I don't think I will be able to teach him to count, be we shall see.

I found an old picture in my hard drive that I took in 2012 on an old Nikon DSLR camera! I just love the lighting and the emotion of this picture! Shot at 35mm. This day I was covering a boxing event competition at the University of Paris Jussieu.
I was more taken by the curious colour that the passing of a red Route 179 gives, when reflected on the side of the blue training bus.

These guys are under basic Army training, I'm their Platoon Sergeant putting them through their paces. This is the Final attack, and what you see is not fog but a smoke grenade used to mask the movement of the troops. all i had on me was my iPhone. i wish i had my camera.
Flash is helping with socialisation and puppy training. As you can see it's going well! To be fair Flash is very playful but gentle with him and Finn is a clever little pup.

3/52: Motion
This was a good theme for me because motion is quite literally my job. I used to do this at school about eight hours a day, but now I do it on tour (probably way fewer hours a day, but they're much more interesting hours) with a circus and live music show called Saloon. We're currently on a short tour break, so I went to train and took my camera with me.
In the middle is me on the cyr wheel, and on the sides are other friends who were training acrobatics and aerial straps.
