Trailers are definitely the way to go for tandems we were very strongly advised. Makes a lot of sense - I (up front) already have to balance the weight of the rear rider and bike when we're at traffic lights etc. - so adding more weight in panniers doesn't appeal.
The Radical Cyclone seems to be one of te best out there for two-wheeled trailers. I looked at some of the one-wheeled trailers - but again, didn't want yet another thing to balance.
The trailer hooks on at the rear axle and follows the bike really well. I haven't noticed that it affects the turning radius much, mainly because I am already taking a wide line around corners as I get used to the handling of a tandem.
The trailer's bag has a capacity of 100 litres - so should be fine for the two of us camping we hope - got some test runs planned soon! Weight loading is 40Kg - but wouldn't fancy pulling that much!
Time will tell - but so far, we liked it!

Cute travel trailers...I LOVE retro stuff. After I carved them I thought they looked like HIS and HERS.....hmmmmm maybe a good idea for Ross and I in our later years!

At the Trailer Park Boys show in Glasgow last night through the quick thinking of my friend after reading bubbles post on twitter, we were able to locate two free tickets in a signed envelope in a phone box near the venue! We were three rows from the front in a great show! Fuck you conky!!

The area above the rear ledger, and below the upper cabinets, is where the electrical raceway, with fuse box, will be located. You can see the wires coming in on each side of the trailer (they are pushed into the upper cabinets to get them out of the way).
Electrical hook ups for trailer harness. The heavy 10ga. black and white wires go off to charge the batteries from the vehicle alternator. the rest are for lights.

Trailer park girl in a pink cadillac. This is one of my favorite sets. It was WAY over exposed and in 2011 I didn't know how to fix that. Glad I saved the raw files!
