Light Trace 光 のトレース
This second gallery results from a two day collaboration (during November 2011 in London) with Tokyo-based light artist/ fashion designer, Erina Kashihara.
For each of the six pieces of Erina's Light Mode Art there are light movement images.
Light emitted from within clothing and accessories combined with directed movements clothe the model within traces of light.
Light is the conduit between art and fashion.

I shall be away for quite some time. I will drop in when I can, might not have enough broadband out and about to upload and will try not to take too many pphotos as I am still catching up with the last 3 aways...
Introducing The Shop's hand-drawn burst vector elements, volume two!
These 36 unique bursts have been carefully traced on paper with a Pentel Sign Pen.
This second volume of bursts has been designed around elements fitting geometrical shapes: circles, ellipses, triangles, squares, pentagons, etc.
After being scanned at 600 ppi, each of the bursts have been cleaned up, and digitized very precisely in Illustrator. Additionally, bitmap TIFF and PNG files were generated.

What's included in your download:

"I then examined the room, which confirmed the murderer's height and provided the additional clues of his cigar type and long nails. Since there were no signs of a struggle, I had already come to the conclusion that the blood had come from the murderer's nose - burst in his excitement. The trace of blood followed the tracks of his feet. I also hazarded that the man was ruddy-faced. Events proved that I judged correctly.
"Having left the house, I did what Gregson had neglected to do. I telegraphed the police in Cleveland and asked about the circumstances surrounding Enoch Drebber's marriage. I learned that he had applied for the protection of the law against an old rival in love, who was Jefferson Hope, and that Hope was in Europe. I held the clue to the mystery in my hand; all that remained was securing the murderer."
Waiting for sanity to come back on one of our builds, grabbed one of my business cards with the intention of some serious office doodle action (!). Instead, I just traced around the outline of the Rocket logo.
I liked the result so much, i placed in on my shelf in such a way that you can only see the rocket-side if you're sitting in my chair.
(I friends-filtered this pic only becuase it contains my company's URL on the card... Not that there's anything all that incriminating in these pics that I don't want Corporate to find, but I don't really wanna associate this photostream with RM... if for no other reason than becase there're a lot of secret devices lying around my office that sites like PhoneScoop would -love- to get a glimpse of)
2012 EDIT: Rocket Mobile hasn't truely existed for years now, and any secrets that somehow made it into my photos here (none that I could find) are long declassified. I'm officially declaring this photo: Public Viewable.

On March 11, at least one U.S. soldier brutally massacred 16 Afghan people in Kandahar province. On March 12, funeral ceremonies are being held for the Afghans killed in Panjwai district.
A candle-light vigil was held on Monday (March 12) at 7pm on the south side of Union Square in Manhattan -- to pay respect to the victims, their families and communities.
This vigil was initiated by Iraq Veterans Against the War, South Asia Solidarity Initiative, Pakistan Solidarity Network, War Resisters League, and other NYC-based people of conscience. The vigil brought attention to:
1) the vigils being held on Monday led by Afghans For Peace in London, Toronto, and California;
2) the work of soldiers and veterans at Coffee Strong in Washington state who see this massacre as part of systemic dehumanization and violence traced to Lewis-McChord base;
3) the ordinary Afghans and Afghan civil society activists who are mourning, speaking out, and protesting war, violence, and dehumanization.

Art installation of various dimensions of porcelain by Liu Jianhua (China) at the staircase wall of the Singapore Art Museum.
I found these two framed cut out things among old family possesions and I liked them, took them home, put them on a windowseal and... took a crooked photo. Still I like it.
