I’m so happy with my prized position…the Dewback, it’s rare and I got it in 2018 in great condition. This is one of my first images I created. Whenever I do a show, this sells well.
No Photoshop used. Had to get my brother involved with this one as I need an extra pair of hands. We managed to create the illusion of the speeder hovering and get that prominent Luke shadow.
Talc powder for snow, cage around the figures and Luke has string wrapped around his ankles. Do I focus my camera on the Wampa and blur out Luke or focus on Luke and blur out the Wampa. Choosing this one just made sense.

One of my favourite childhood movies. I watched this the other week and still loved it as much. Now Reading James O’barrs book. The figure is made by Diamond Select and I used photoshop for rain and a little smoke only oh and of course I shopped out the plastic tube holding the crow up in position.

Holding my photography hand-held light in one hand, pressing the remote to take the photograph whilst pressing my foot down on the pedal to create the smoke around the figure was tough work. I don’t just take a few shots…I’m there for AGES changing poses/positions and trying to capture the essence of the familiar part of the film.
This shot is a shameless plug for this awesome LitraPro light that I use in almost all of my shots. It’s such a well designed light and useful tool that’s always in my camera bag.

So I accidentally fell asleep in our living room last night while watching a movie - I awoke around 2am and went into the kitchen; the light from our water dispenser on the fridge was very bright and I randomly decided it was perfect for a toy shoot... the texture in the back is from the light filtering through a laundry basket - not sure what was going through my head!😄
