Not a great photo, but taken behind the forecourt of a garage of interest to Chris Barker. This was my Starlet as found on a forecourt before I purchased it with a full MoT for £300 - they were the days!

Saw this Generation 8 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon Wagon parked at one of our favorite restaurants. We don’t get these in the US so I just had to take a few photos before even entering the premises.
Yes, the plate was altered for privacy.
It is probably a JDM car imported after the 25 year waiting period.
Majesta models are some of the most nicely equipped of the Toyota Crown models. I’m guessing that this is a 2nd Generation (S150) version. Corrections welcome.
This is the 2nd generation of crown which was sold here. Much loved by Banger racers, and of an era when Toyota had some distinctive designs in their range.

Here's the front view of the car I presented in yesterday's photo. Right hand drive is readily apparent.

Seen at Coronation Garage in/near Frinton-on-Sea, Essex about 1995/96. Amazing to think it was only 15-16 years old, it looked like it was from another age compared to the other stuff on this long-established Toyota dealer's forecourt. Seems a high price! It was nice though, and I think it was very low mileage.
Note Montego in the background.

I've seen one or two of these on pretty much every French holiday I've taken. Also caught sight of an earlier, squarer version that was on the road.
This just may be the nicest Land Cruiser I've ever seen. It must have been restored, because it was just about perfect inside and out.

The Toyota Alphard, is a minivan produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota since 2002. It is available as a seven or eight-seater with petrol and hybrid engine options. Hybrid variants have been available since 2003, which incorporates Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive technology. It is Toyota's flagship minivan.
The vehicle was named after Alphard, the brightest star in the constellation Hydra. Until the third generation, the Alphard wears a special front emblem which depicts the lowercase alpha letter. A prominent design feature of the Alphard is its shield-like grille, which it's had since the launch of the AH30 generation in 2015.

The badass Alfa Romeo beside it will be uploaded soon!
HEY, quick question for everyone. To date, I've avoided uploading renders of models that I design digitally, instead opting to wait until I have the completed build to photograph and post. Problem is, I've been unemployed for months due to Covid-19, so I can't afford to build these much. As a result, I'm about 6 cars behind. Would y'all be interested in me uploading the renders, or would you prefer to wait and see the finished deal like I've been doing?
Anyway! I don't know if this is the best car in the world to try to translate to the classic 6-wide Speed Champions scale, but dang it, it's what I wanted. I'm particularly happy with the rear wide window shaping and cleanliness. It's on Rebrickable, of course.

Got a shot of my Scion FRS now rebadged Toyota 86 while shooting Danny's RWB awhile ago. I'll take an updated photo later since I've dialed in the suspension settings.

Circa 1972. Rare Toyota 2000GT in the Old Ranch Country Club parking lot. Lampson Avenue near Basswood St. viewing west-northwest. This is where Lampson Avenue comes close to and parallels the San Diego Fwy. (I-405). There wasn't a wall between the lot and Lampson to block the view then.
Notably, there are three 1971 Fords facing the camera in one of the parking rows; two wagons and a sedan.

First of a batch of photos taken by Miss SL's boyfriend when they visited Crete at the end of the summer. Particularly good to see this one, not something we saw many of in the UK even when they were new-ish.

Glad I found this photo. I snapped it in the mid 90's while I was living in London - the rust was incredible, you can see a fair amount but I think the photo flatters the car condition somewhat. I saw the car several times being driven by an elderly lady who obviously gave up on the car not long after I took this shot.
