I gave my one-year-old "room time" for the first time the other day. After a few minutes of silence, I went in to check on her, and this is what I found. I don't know how she got in there because she is only crawling and standing. I could tell she was wondering how she was going to get out!! So cute!!:)

Ahoy There!

Me and Leo enjoyed playing in this great pirate ship today, which we found when visiting some friends with Caz. It’s a shame Rummy the Pirate Domo wasn’t with us, but we had a good time anyway.

Maya likes fairies. So do I . It was fun making this box

Hazle heeft het goed bekeken - ze ziet eruit als een speelgoedbeertje, dus gaat ze ook maar bij het speelgoed liggen!

Hazle looks like a toy teddybear, so she figured she had to stay in the toybox ;)

Neem ook eens een kijkje op mijn website The Sounding Burrows en voor videootjes moet je op mijn youtube channel zijn :)

Ma's present to her - two small crates with small toy items inside.

I hate that it looks like they're having way more fun than me....

I made this bench (Toybox) with recycled wooden pallet that I have sanded so that there is no risk that the child will get hurt with a splinter. Then, I made the painting with white cheese, natural pigments and finally I put a green varnish over.

Septimus The Spider

Caz took us on a lovely geocaching walk this afternoon. Me and Leo had lots of fun looking for the little boxes. At one place, we met Septimus the Spider (he’s only got seven legs, poor chap) who disguised himself as a cache. How clever! It made Caz jump when she found him and we laughed when we realised he was harmless (well, legless acutally!).

Have you ever noticed that warning signs are yellow? Mr Duck found himself in a dangerous place today, looking at the electrical switch board at Maker Space.

He knew there were lots of volts about (at least 415) so he didn't touch anything but left the electrical fiddling to Alistair.

I'm not sure who's the most dangerous though...?

Safely Packed

Hippy arrived from New York packed in a huuuuuge box, with loads of packing beans. It was all rather overkill. But he was glad to get out and immediately asked for cookies.

Wot, No Bricks?

Bricky enjoyed a trip to London town with me yesterday. We were looking for some of the famous buildings for him to have his photo taken with, as he’s a big fan of Architecture, which is this week’s Toybox theme.

He liked the sound of the Gherkin but was a bit disappointed on two counts – first, there weren’t many bricks to be seen – it’s all made of glass and steel. And second, there weren’t any actual gherkins to eat!

Never mind, he cheered up when we went to the cake shop around the corner.
