The Combined Platform Ladder is a Mercedes Actros 4144K with a Vema 553 TFL 180ft (55m) articulated aerial platform. In contrast, the Aerial Ladder is a Scania P310 with a Metz L56 184ft (56m) aerial ladder platform.
This is the only Ladder Truck that serves the citizens of West Milford Township, New Jersey. Located at Station 6, this Tower Ladder is centrally located for response to any portion of the town. This Emergency One Fire Truck has been in service over 15 years already, and is the pride of the Fire Department. By the way, this is the last unit that will be in this color scheme as Company 6 has returned to red as the color of choice.
