Life will weed out those who are true from all the others. The special ones will stick around, watch you cry, hold your hand and rub your back, and stick around some more.

I've met plenty of others. I've even told them that I loved them. But in reality, none of them have truly loved me back. When push came to shove, they left. I'm talking about both males and females.

Today, I feel grateful because my life is filled with the truth. People who really love me, not who just say it, and who genuinely want me to be happy. And though I'm able to count those people on one hand only...I am eternally grateful for everything they are.
