This team of weirdos is anything but the ideal crime-fighting team. I mean, their team name is poop, after all. Nobody likes them, but themselves. Here's the team:
Darkface: Whoever it is under this mask thought that would be a cool name. At least, that's what he (or she) told the team when he (or she) first met them. Nobody knows this person's real name, so they just call him (or her) Darky. Darky doesn't like it.
Batguy: Batguy's original name was Jeff before the radioactive nuke went off in Nuketown. He's always been a well-kept, fancy guy, so that never changed. Now, he just has razor sharp teeth for biting baddies.
Hothead: Barbara was just like Jeff before the nuke. A normal lady with a normal life. Radiation poisoning hit her hard when it super-heated and melted her face and gave her the ability to breath fire. She has trouble controlling that ability, so she wears a high tech scuba mask to control the fire.
Banana Dude: He just kind of showed up when these guys did, Nobody really knows who this guy is, because he can't talk. He's basically a giant banana with arms and legs. He also has the ability to create bananas on command. Makes great for slipping enemies with banana peels!
Anyway I hope you guys like this dysfunctional team of heroes that I have created and as always, stay frosty, bros and broditas!

Vortex was born as the son of a demon lord. As a young child, he lacked the supernatural strength of his brethren, and was ridiculed for it. Eventually, he learned that his father planned to break the truce between the demonic and mortal worlds. He fled, hoping to alert the humans before disaster struck.
In the human world, he learned that instead of the strength normal for his kind, he had the ability to create portals to anywhere in either the demonic or mortal worlds. He used this to help gather the heroes who would become the Excelsiors to fight his father's invasion force.
Stallion is a martial artist who has trained since his childhood. He has slightly above-average strength, and has become very skilled a fighting style that relies almost exclusively on kicks. He also has a great sense of humor.
Jacee Chavez was a toddler when her pixie-like wings grew, and her powers soon followed. She exhibited magical abilities reminiscent of a fairy, including flight and teleportation, as well as powerful bolts of energy.
Her parents were understandably concerned, and asked a family friend with experience raising super-powered children to help care for the girl. With his help, she learned to control her powers through the use of batons made from a very specific alloy. She dubbed these her "fairy wands". When she was 9 years old, she was in a building targeted by an arsonist, and she lost her left eye in the explosion.
Nicholas Darkwood has had the ability to control light and darkness energy. These powers generally manifest in the form of blades or batons.
When he was a child, he lived in a house a mile from an experimental energy plant, and was affected when the plant became ground zero for a massive fight between the police and a villainous warlock called Night Shade. The energies released when the plant exploded mutated Nicholas, and he began calling himself Paradox. In his teens, he decided to start a team, and started recruiting members alongside his not-quite-girlfriend Jacee, who codenamed herself Fairytale.
Emilia Stevens never knew her parents. She was raised by an adoptive family, and discovered her wings when she fell from the third floor window of her middle school.
After some experimentation, she learned that they reflexively extended from her forearms when she fell from a dangerous height. With practice, she has learned to control their appearance.
Betty Gaunt has the ability to create blades and brightly colored blasts from light. She has no knowledge of how her powers developed, and no real interest in finding out. She feels that to do so would ruin the "mystique" of having powers.
Eduardo Pena is the only person to exist in all alternate realities, and as such can summon himself from infinite dimensions to assist him in battle. Inversely, his doubles from other realities can call him to their aid as well.
He knows many other dimensions quite well, both from exploring them and from hearing about them from his doubles.
Woo, that was fun to write! Anyway, let me know what you think of them! Also, I might have a group of villains for them to fight, but I can't find some of the parts, so we'll see.
In a previous post I said that I was thinking about a contest. My original thought was to do it when I reached 75 followers, but I think it is close enough. The rules are very simple:
1. Any entries into the contest must be an original super hero team. Meaning, you have to create a team of super heroes and a backstory for each member. (Example below)
2. Only three entries per person
3. Make sure to use the hashtag, #totallyawesomesupercontest
The due date for entries will be June 1.

Danger Man-
Once a great boxer from Boston, Damian Daniels was gifted with incredible strength at childbirth, as well as the ability to sense when danger was nearby. These skills won him the International Boxing Tournament. When the producers of the tournament found out that he had powers, they took the cash reward back and attempted to kill him. He was saved by Sir Cumfrence and was asked to join the Saviors
Mitus-
John "Mitus" Sanders was a general in the United States military stationed in England during a time of turmoil between the two nations. While there, John was exposed to a dangerous bio-weapon that left him with extensive injuries. Maxy Charles Jr., an American scientist, created Mitus a suit that would keep him alive and give him powers. Those powers being the ability to magnetically control gold dust. He could create weapons with the gold dust, as well as shields, traps, and armor. Sir Cumfrence saw potential in Mitus and recruited him for the Saviors. The
Sir Cumfrence-
The founder of the Knights of the Round Table, Sir Cumfrence was a mighty warrior and an excellent battle strategist. On one of his crusades, he found the Magic Armor, an ancient artifact that prevents the wearer from aging or dying. With the armor he found the Magic Great Sword, which is capable of penetrating any armor. He lived for thousands of years and became stronger and smarter. After a fatal battle with an unknown evil, Sir Cumfrence knew that he couldn't fight this threat alone. He founded the Saviors to battle this evil.
Dragon Blade-
Ryu no Ha, also known as the Dragon Blade, was a talented ninja from Japan. She trained in almost every form of martial arts, especially swordsmanship. She traveled the world in search of the Mystic Dragon to receive power over evil. Her blade was made from dragon scales and was created by elves. The blade is unbreakable and never blunts. She battled against Sir Cumfrence, receiving her first defeat. Sir Cumfrence asked her to join the Saviors to help them defeat evil.

Maxy Charles Sr. was a war hero of WW2 and was remembered as the first ever super hero. He created a suit of armor that could rival Japan's Air Force and protect the wearer from common bullets. Sadly, Maxy Charles Sr. died in battle, leaving his billion dollar company to his newborn son, Maxy Charles Jr. Maxy was inspired by his father's legacy and swore to fight evil like his father once did. He got hard at work and eventually created a suit that could store powerful weapons, withstand heavy fire, and even fly. He uploaded the armor with and artificial intelligence he dubbed "Spark". He and Spark fought crime in New York until he got the attention of Sir Cumfrence, who accepted him into the Saviors.
