Torino is the place were I was born and I grew up and have lived for 40 years. Fifteen years ago I move to US, but because of my job I can come back yearly and enjoy its beauty. This image is my personal tribute to the city.
Torino e' la citta' in cui sono nato, cresciuto e vissuto per 40 anni, prima di emigrare negli USA 15 anni fa. Grazie al mio lavoro pero' posso tornare spesso e goderne della bellezza. Questa immagine e' il mio personale omaggio alla citta'.

Vista sulla città di Torino dal colle di Superga uno dei colli più alti di Torino, situato a circa 10 km a nord-est del centro cittadino, e sul quale è edificata l'omonima Basilica. Alto 672 m s.l.m., è il terzo colle dell'intera catena delle Colline del Po.

L'Armeria Reale di Torino è una delle più ricche collezioni di armi e armature antiche del mondo insieme all'Armeria Reale di Madrid, quella imperiale di Vienna e quella dei cavalieri di Malta. Ha sede nella manica di collegamento tra Palazzo Reale e le Segreterie di Stato (oggi sede della Prefettura), all'interno di un complesso appartenente al sito UNESCO delle Residenze Sabaude, iscritto alla lista del Patrimonio dell'umanità dal 1997. L'Armeria fa parte dei Musei Reali di Torino, che dal 2012 ha riunito ad essa il Palazzo Reale, la Galleria Sabauda, il Museo Archeologico e la Biblioteca Reale.

The Royal Armory of Turin is one of the richest collections of ancient weapons and armor in the world together with the Royal Armory of Madrid, the Imperial Armory of Vienna and that of the Knights of Malta. It is located in the connecting sleeve between the Royal Palace and the Secretariats of State (now the seat of the Prefecture), within a complex belonging to the UNESCO site of the Savoy Residences, registered in the World Heritage list since 1997. The Armory makes part of the Royal Museums of Turin, which since 2012 has brought together the Royal Palace, the Sabauda Gallery, the Archaeological Museum and the Royal Library.
