I took the original photo two days ago in Bradgate Park near Leicester, and processed it in Capture One Fujifilm Express, Topaz Impression 2 and then in Photoshop Elements. This artwork is based on one of the Abstract presets in the Topaz software. I reduce my image in size to 4000px across (in landscape view), when using Topaz software - I find it can't handle larger images so well.
Camera: Fuji X-T3 plus the 18-55mm lens.

That's what we felt when we looked down on Grasmere from the fell above, on our walk from Rydal Water. I found this picture yesterday and had to paint it !
Plus, after hearing Bruce Springsteen interviewed on Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4 this morning, I was enchanted - what a genuine, unassuming man he is. Always an admirer, I am now hooked for life !
His autobiography is called "Born to Run" ... so I think a blast of this fantastic song is called for here, don't you? :o)

Sailing By - BBC Radio 4 late night Shipping Forecast theme tune
Many people really love BBC Radio 4's late night shipping forecast even if they're not sailors - I am one of them, although I'm rarely awake well after midnight nowadays. Sailing By is played every night on BBC Radio 4 at around 00:45hrs before the late night Shipping Forecast, serving as a signal for sailors tuning in to be able to easily identify the radio station.

I photographed these last August in The Nottingham Arboretum ... a welcome splash of colour on a cold and wet wintery day in December.
BTW, I "painted" this image and put it up on Flickr within 30 minutes. Topaz software is really wonderful.
