This weekend is Rooster Days in Broken Arrow. I thought this rooster weather vane would be a great way to do the Flickr Friday Top theme and Rooster Days!

E' molto difficile fare foto a dei topi che appena sentono il minimo rumore scappano subito e ogni volta che mi presento con un 100 o 135 mm non ci sono mai, la rete verde del pollaio poi non aiuta la messa a fuoco...Ora esco con il cane !
Found this "Giant" AKA Top Cat walking the Thames Path.
Top Cat is an American animated television series made by the Hanna-Barbera studios that first ran from September 27, 1961 to April 18, 1962 for a run of 30 episodes on the ABC network.
The central character, Top Cat (T.C.) is the leader of a gang of Manhattan alley cats living in Hoagy's Alley: Fancy-Fancy, Spook, Benny the Ball, Brain, and Choo Choo.

The group of trees at the top of Minninglow Hill catching the early morning sun. Within the group of trees crowning the hill are a Neolithic chambered tomb and two Bronze Age bowl barrows.
It was a long hiking to the top of Hochkönig. We went on the Königsjodler klettersteig. It's one of the longest viaferrata in Europe, it takes about 10 hours if you don't hurry.

A hiker stands on an knob of gneiss just north of the parking lot at Beartooth Pass in Shoshone National Forest, Wyoming. The lighter rock is granodiorite that intruded into the gneiss. The hiker at the top of the knob stands at about 11,000 feet above sea level. The rocks exposed here are part of an Archean metamorphic-igneous complex and are between 3.6 and 2.7 billion years ago. These rocks represent a time when Wyoming was a separate microcontinent called the Wyoming Craton which existed 500 million years before the North American Continent formed.

One of our resident Blackbirds has turned a patio table into his private landing strip when arriving for a snack. Only he hasn't yet quiet mastered touching down on a glass top runway. Oh happy days ... :-))

The flask is 22mm high!
Four brass items given to me by my daughter for my last birthday. This started as an investigation on how four different lenses would render the same little scene on my table-top.
Obviously there has been some post-processing to get the tinted high-key version.
