Summer 2009: I was making my way back to Vancouver during a scorching heat wave.... it was 33C at 4PM, a dry hot day in BC's interior. I'd been on a solo roadtrip for 10 days, shooting zillions of photos, visiting scattered friends, dodging forest fires that erupted *everywhere* and generally renewing my love affair with natural British Columbia. In short, feeling pretty grateful and a bit sorry the trip was ending.
I arrived in Princeton BC and headed for the hardware store I knew to be on Main Street. Then this sign appeared on the street - what a wonderful reminder to me in this little, unassuming town !
