I believe that “Sketching” as we’re talking about it here is a craft, and crafts take time and discipline to master and it can be hard. But that mastery is important to moving toward a position of creative abilities. Tools should not substitute for community engagement. Rather than just using “turnkey” tools at some point you want to participate with the ultimate toolkit — the community.

An easily distressed leather - sturdy and it takes the mark of everything that touches it.

This is a mild HDR from Joshua tree. Some might think that I should have been pointing the camera the other way, but I like capturing the view in the sunglasses, and of course its the ever famous traveling hat. Obviously my Nikon and the 1.4F 50mm fixed lens is missing from this tookkit.
