There is a new version of the web developers toolkit out. Its an "addon" for firefox. One of the new features shown in this screenshot is (ahem!) putting a new tool bar just above the page and showing the page validation for html, css and accessibility. Accessibility usually shows errors as they are checks which you would need to look at.

A tool kit designed for a Java-based page/image editing application. The original tool kit was very basic visually, with flat, jaggy graphics. I decided that a more photoshop-like treatment would be appropriate for an application that was being heralded as a photo editing system.

A Flock user submitted feedback about Flock not working with video on Netscape.com , so I found myself back on a website that I previously spent countless hours on while doing QA on Netscape 8.
I just had to click the blacklisted sites button, and found myself staring at an animated gif showing more themes for Netscape 8.
I was reminded by the hours and effort that Kurt and Raj put into creating theming documentation. I am a big fan of both of those guys, and while at Merc I never got around to reading their documents nor looking at their kit.

I did poke around to read the license, and was further disheartened to find it at the beginning of NS_Theming_Fusion_1_1.pdf :
"You may only distribute the Sample Code as part of a Theme that you may only distribute such Themes through channels authorized by Netscape"
Deleted.
I guess I may never see the results of their labor, nor will most in the Mozilla community. It is is a shame that Netscape's current work can't be used to futher the bold and wise decision the company Netscape made in opening their source.
