365 Days in Colour: October 2014 “scarlet & light grey".

This is my late grand mother's toolbox. LJ stands for Lillian Joyce. Still an awesome toolbox.

I made this with my craft group with the help of a fantastic carpenter.

Ateliers MeetupUX Toulouse - 8 décembre 2012 - Epitech

This is the custom trade show toolbox I made out of ½ inch plywood recycled from the fail crates from 2019. It has a French cleat at the back with which it is attached to the gun cart for hand transport between my rental car and the exhibit hall.

Assignment: The Rainbow - Take a shot full of vivid colors. At a minimum, we must be able to clearly identify at least three of the following colors in the photo: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. (tag with cwd41)

It helped that I put together this third board with the other two; that made the nailing easier both for the base-to-wall operation, and for the base-and-wall-to-end-wall operation.

Neat storage box for XF105 and 95

my 3 years old macbook pro, magic mouse (perfect for witchcraft, eh? :P) and 4 years old ipod touch 2nd gen. my essential tools to get into working mood.

A closer view of the toolbox. This is probably one of the easiest computers to move around for conventions like QuakeCon.

This is an original Hazet round toolbox that mounts in the spare tire of your vintage VW or Porsche.

I got a shot of the painter's paints. I should have gotten this a little sooner as there was a much wider array and it would have made such a photo.

Various favourites from the toolbox

This setup consists of a HD-S (high speed green) phosphor screen, and a 90kV, 15 milliamp real X-ray tube with a 1.5 amp 12 volt hot cathode.

I took the photo running the tube at 60kV and around 2 milliamps.

The exposure took 30 seconds, and the green phosphor shadow was post-processed to turn it into the more recognisable negative cyan X-ray transparency.

I use an old 20D camera because X-rays DO in fact damage CCD's as I found an increasing number of hot pixels on my new camera when I first started making X-ray images.

Hand made with no machines (ok maybe a cordless drill)

Husband's toolbox....the lid won't close because he has so much stuff jammed into the box! lol
