In retrospect, you can easily say that a lot of what Robbins pitches is common sense, but when you think about how little of it we employ in our daily lives, it makes it much more powerful and memorable. For myself, I can only say that what he said that day was exactly what I needed to hear.
On 2009.08.23 I visited the Bay Area Power Team and got to hear Stu Mittleman (the Man who ran 1,000 miles in 11 days) speak.
Stu followed up that run by running 3,000 miles across the United States.
His stories are amazing.
We had about 43 people show up and help (some were camera shy, and didn't want to be in the group picture).
We delivered about 90 baskets to needy families in the Orange County area.

Topher Morrison came to speak to the Orange County Power Team on 2010-03-03. He was one heck of a speaker!
The Bay Area Power Team had Shore Slocum for it's featured speaker on 2009.09.27.
These pictures pretty much show a good time was had by all - despite the fact that everybody kept their clothes on!
Kudos to Jeremy for building such a great group - it was worth my long drive!
