Sunset on the wharf (Mariina di Pietrasanta, Tuscany)
Marina di Pietrasanta is a fraction of the municipality of Pietrasanta, in the Versilia Riviera, in the province of Lucca.
As its name indicates, this fraction extends along the coast of the Ligurian sea facing Pietrasanta and includes the 4 km of coast between Forte dei Marmi and Lido di Camaiore. Marina di Pietrasanta is divided into four zones, which are (listed from North-West to South-East):
• Fiumetto;
• Tonfano;
• Motrone;
• Focette.
The main attraction of Tonfano is the wharf: built for tourism and recreation, it is 380 meters long, 214 at sea, and is 5.64 wide.
Work began in December 2003 and continued in autumn 2005. The pier was inaugurated on June 14, 2008.
On the wharf are placed various sculptures, in honor of the artistic vocation of the city of Pietrasanta; ends in a decagonal square with a beautiful fountain in the center.

Savica Waterfall - Slovenia
Il più importante tra i numerosi affluenti del Lago di Bohinj è proprio quello del Savica. Le sue acque sgorgano dal sottoterra della Valle dei laghi del Triglav dalla parete del Komarča come Cascata del Savica, la cascata slovena più nota e visitata.
Il Savica scorre dalla sorgente sopra una superficie inclinata lunga 38 m cadendo quasi verticalmente per 51 m. La differenza d'altitudine è di 78 m. Dalla frattura sgorga un minore corso d'acqua che cade per 25 metri nel tonfano comune. Insieme creano una cascata divisa in due flussi a forma di A.
The most important of the many tributaries of Lake Bohinj is just what the Savica. Its water bursts from the underground of the Valley of the Triglav Lakes from the wall of Komarča as Savica Waterfall, the most famous Slovenian waterfall and visited.
The Savica runs over 38 m long inclined surface falling almost vertically to 51 m. The altitude difference is 78 m. Gushing from a broken lower stream that falls to 25 meters in tonfano common. Together they create a waterfall divided into two flows in the form of A.
Marina di Pietrasanta è situata in Versilia e comprende da sud a nord le località di Focette, Motrone, Tonfano e Fiumetto.
Presenta una spiaggia ampia e di sabbia soffice che si estende per quasi cinque chilometri e con larghezza in alcuni punti che raggiunge circa 200 metri. Il mare è limpido azzurro con fondale che degrada gradualmente.

Marina di Pietrasanta is located in Versilia (Tuscany) and includes from south to north the towns of Focette, Motrone, Tonfano and Fiumetto.
It has a wide beach of soft sand that stretches for nearly five kilometers wide and in some places it reaches about 200 meters. The sea is clear blue with bottom that slopes gradually.
