Well, I can think of another alternative. Since these things seem to congregate in heavily populated areas and since we have not touched upon any of our nuclear resources ... why don't we drop bombs on all the big cities ?"

"It is worth saving ? Is a bite victim worth saving ? For all I know, it's the brains that are already dead. It's the idiots that are still alive."

"These creatures are nothing but pure, motorized instinct. We must not be lulled by the concept that these are our family members or our friends. They are not. They will not respond to such emotions. They must be destroyed on sight !"

"I told you not to go out tonight, didn't I ? Every time you go out, this kind of thing happens."
('Frank Zito' by RK - made out of a slightly modified and blood painted action figure by ToyBiz / 'Knife' by NECA / 'Scalp' by ToyBiz as well)
NOTE: I always hoped that one day there'd be a figure of one of my favourite horror movie characters: Frank Zito, outstandingly performed by the late Joe Spinell. Then again, what toy company wants to get their hands dirty by sculpting this grim, deranged and yet sad and lonely serial killer from 'MANIAC' (1980)? A movie so controversially discussed and reviewed - and often incomprehensibly ignored when it comes to the list of 80s horror movies.
So I took this matter into my own hands and tried to recreate the now infamous movie poster. To me it's still one of the best horror movies ever made - with Joe Spinell's great and disturbing performance and some of the best make-up effects at that time by Tom Savini.
"I've always felt that the real horror is next door to us, that the scariest monsters are our neighbors."

The ground floor – or first floor – features a fast food restaurant which also was not part of the film, but I liked the idea. Broken windows and bricks, food all over the floor. This strange scene is actually taken directly from the film. Special horror make up master Tom Savini played the role of the lead motorcycle raider and he and his gang had a lot of fun with the zombies and a pie fight.
The main task for me was to fit the moving stairs on the 16 x 16 plate.

If you are with any kind of publication and want a full res copy of any of these for your publication, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to oblige

I really like what I shot with this girl. If you are her, or know who she is, please contact me, as I would like to shoot her again

This is such a great photograph. I don't mean I took a great photograph. It was taken with a disposable camera. But I was on a film set. One of the two movies I was in.
The greatness of it comes from the fact that you get to see this amazing makeup job in technicolor, and you don't ever see it like this in the film.
And taken out of context, it looks like someone's offering some hairspray to a dying man. Or something like that.
And it also looks like his cock is hanging out at the bottom of the bloodbath, but I swear to you that it's just the bottom of the flesh/gore/entrails. It's not supposed to be a bloody penis.
But god that's going to make a great "Tag".
This was from Chillers. (Wasn't it? Yeah, has to be).
I was in two horror films, and I'm a better stage guy than a film guy, for sure. I wish someone had just come up to me and said "subtlety, Johnny. It's the key to film."
Anywho, I was in Chillers and Invasion Of The Space Preachers. If you want to embarrass me, watch them and make fun of my acting. I think they're both still easily rentable or buyable. At least one of them's on Netflix, because someone I know just had a copy mailed to here recently. I believe that Invasion is a Troma film.

Or so I'd imagine....the back of the card says "rubber self likeness of Tom for shotgun scene in "Maniac"." Oh well, guess one of them is getting both the ladies!!
Self-portrait; recreation of a scene from one of my favorite slasher films, The Prowler (1981). That's a bayonet going into the top of my skull and out through the other side—righteous!
