My nextdoor neighbour was the guinea pig for my first portrait shoot session. My head was exploding with stuff to remember (which of course I forgot). I was trying to make friendly conversation, but having problems, when I realised that I can't yet take photos AND talk to humans. Cats are OK, I can talk to them while I take photos. Not leaving my day job yet, but it was fun and a learning experience. 😀
Tomas Sinicki
Back in October I had the pleasure of shooting a gig in Vilnius, Lithuania. Tomas Sinicki is a super-talented musician who sings in English and Lithuanian. His music is eclectic, ranging from in-your-face punk music to the sweetest and slowest of acoustic ballads. Listen to this - goo.gl/1erqhq
I shot the gig with the iPhone and Olloclip telephoto lens, Fuji X100T and the Nikon D7000. It was challenging to work with the changing light conditions, but I really enjoyed it.

At a permanent installation at the Ständehaus in Düsseldorf, visitors walk across a steel mesh, suspended 25 metres above ground level. The museum has a sectioned glass dome, seen in the background. The atmosphere reminds me of the wonderful Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher. This is my contribution to the 'your best shot 2019' competition. Please enlarge image to view.
