It is now nearly one century that the companies Martigny-Orsières (MO) and Martigny-Châtelard (MC) serve the valleys of Entremont and Trient.
In 1990, the Boards of directors of both companies decided to combine the destinies of the MO and the MC under common management. However each company would keep its independent status.
It is also at this moment that the trains were newly baptized: Saint-Bernard Express for the MO and Mont Blanc Express train for the MC.
In addition, new centers of profits came into being: Octodure-voyages and Orsières-Octodure-Transports following the takeover of a company.
Currently, TMR SA is an important employer in the region. Some 180 permanent collaborators ensure the running of its activities.
