This was my beloved Foden which I bought new and collected from Elworth on 1st. November 1988 i had entered in to an owner driver franchise with ARC she cost new with H.P £77,700 which was a lot of money in those days.we mostly carried tar for surfacing and carried tar for the new A55 Expressway and Conway Tunell in the top righ pic.she is seen being pulled by a Cat up a steep embankment near the north bound tunnel entrance.
Seen i nGillingham Kent in 1986 is this 8-wheeled ERF C-series tipper belonging to Power Plane. It has a Jennings sleeper cab extension which at the time was unusual for a tipper lorry. The Jennings modification was performed on vehicles that left the production line with a day cab....hence the flat roofline.

Trailing a long tip vortice, 'Red Bull' sponsored De Havilland (HS) Sea Vixen FAW.2 G-CVIX (XP924) tops out of a loop as she performs at the 2005 RNAS Yeovilton 'Air Day'.
Sea Vixens were used aboard the Royal Navy's Aircraft carriers from 1959-1972 eventually being replaced by the Phantom FG.1 aboard HMS Eagle and the Ark Royal.
Now painted in true 'period' Fleet Air Arm colours this beautiful and totally unique example of this 1950's design is set to wow the crowds for several years yet to come.

1 - Naci en un 14 de Julio, los franceses celebran mi cumpleaños ;)
2 - Tengo dos hijos, aunque esto la mayoria ya lo sabies.
3 - Pertenezco a la mejor generación, irrepetible, la de los 60!!!!
4 - Me gusta el futbol sobretodo cuando juega el Barça ;) ( y gana!)
5 - Me encanta comer bien, en restaurantes poco recomendables jejeje (caros)
5 - Me chifla el buen vino, cada vez mas los del Priorat y Empordà.
6 - A veces no se que daria por una Voll Dam fresquita ;)
7 - Me muero por viajar y conocer sitios nuevos.
8 - La fotografia es mi otra gran pasión.
9 - La otra es la naturaleza, los animales y sobretodo la alta montaña.
10 - Me gusta Queen, en especial Bohemian Rapsody.
11 - Tambien me gustan algunos cantantes/conjuntos catalanes, como Sau, Sopa de Cabra, etc.
12 - Estrene mi primera reflex, Canon por supuesto, en 1978, con mi primer sueldo.
13 - No me gusta el 13.
14 - Me gusta la sinceridad, la valoro mucho, aunque a veces preferiria que la verdad no fuera tan cruel ;)
15 - Intento dar sin esperar recibir nada a cambio, a veces lo consigo ;)
16 - No sé que haria sin todos vosotros, gracias por vuestro apoyo, algunos/as habeis calado muy hondo.

I worked today at my mom's business (where she so conveniently fits and sells toe shoes) so I got to play around for my 365 today and get pretty cliche :)
Oh well, it's a Monday and I'm currently on the Bench Monday bandwagon, which I think is okay for now.
I'm going to go for now and continue editing photos from this weekend and the Outlaws game, lol. yes I'm slow :) or just lazy? Or just a procrastinator?

Notes: According to McCauley Galerie des contemporains could either be purchased in volumes of 25 biographies or assembled by subscribers. Disdéri reached an agreement with the editor Zacharias Dollingen in which Dollingen hired journalists to provide the biographical notices which would accompany Disdéri's photographs.
André-Adolphe-Eugène Disdéri (1819 - 1889) a self-taught daguerreotypist, researched and improved upon the existing collodion-on-glass negative process, which he outlined in his first publication, Manuel Opératoire de Photographie sur Collodion Instantané, 1853. That same year, he returned to Paris and opened the largest studio in Paris, which spread across two floors. It was there that he introduced his carte-de-visite portraits which were a great financial success. For the 1855 Paris Exposition Universelle, he formed the Société du Palais de l'Industrie and obtained the rights to photograph all the products and works of art exhibited at the Exposition. Eder writes "Disdéri was considered the outstanding portrait photographer of his time in Paris. Napoleon III appointed him court photographer. In 1861, he instructed French officers in photography under orders from the minister of war. Disdéri's popularity is best shown by the fact that his character was introduced in 1861 as a star attraction on the stage of a small vaudeville theater in Paris by a realistic representation featuring his bald head and tremendous beard."
