These small guys are for the tinyshop show at double punch gallery in SF, curated by Antoinette Celes (http://tinyshop.blogspot.com/). She says the show "celebrates the preciousness of 'mini' --- the shortest distance between 2 points, the space of minutiae, and creative endeavors on a small scale." We were encouraged to create small items; these guys are about 6 inches tall. I loved working in a smaller scale, I think I might do more tinythings.

The show opens on November 17 and runs through January 6 - unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the opening due to a work commitment. But go!

Edited to add: Antoinette just told me that the show now opens on the 21st, with the grand opening on the 24th. So I will be there.

So many good artists are involved:

This Garden Shed holds all the Flowers, Berries, Fairy Dust, and tiny tools that a tiny little Garden Fairy would need to plant the perfect Fairy Garden Patch.

In Fairy Patch everything grows very fast with the help of a little bit of Fairy Dust and Fairy Love!!

.... not really! Just the first line on the page of this tiny, tiny book! I have no idea where these came from but as we were doing a big clear-out from our attic we came across these little books - must have been a gift for one of our kids, way back when!!

A normal sized book lies in the background to help understand the size of the little books.

Thanks for dropping by! Your views and comments are always much appreciated.

This little sheep sits in my study and I've no idea why or how it ever got there, although, a certain Lewis might have had something to do with that.

The sheep is very small and I have used the paper clips to give an idea of size - penned in now!!

More strolling in lovely Pine Lake today. The detail on this little birdhouse was thrilling. The birdhouse was no bigger than six inches tall, but it had an even smaller birdhouse on its exterior wall.

This is the toothpaste in my (apparently "executive") room in the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel in London.

I purposefully blew out the exposure a little bit to emphasize the light streaming through the wings. This swallowtail had just crawled out of its chrysalis and my son put it on the bromeliad bloom in the sun to let it expand and dry its wings. For all intents and purposes, this is a baby butterfly.

Thank you all for the kind comments!

Inspired by another squirrel in this book.

A gift from Mr Jones. I dun eatz it.
