Made with the Tiny Planets App while waiting for Mike at the doctor.
I hope you know that I appreciate your comments and visits. I may not get back to you quickly but I will try my best
Something different for today, but I have to say...I did get carried away just a little with this one. You can see the original version in the comments - it looks nothing like this final image. NOT EVEN CLOSE!
I processed a boring row of tall buildings with "Tiny Planets" application, decided it is still kind of boring and applied a thermal camera filter to it. At this point I really couldn't stop and made 7 different thermal versions. Not to worry, I posted only 2 out of 7 in the comments. And one as the main image, of course. Aren't you sorry you may never know what the other four look like? HSS, guys!
It was s capture first out of a patterned woodwall. I used #tinyplanetsapp to turn in into a treecut looking piece with 47rings. Guess my age now 😅😃😄 #treeporn#surreal_minimalism42 #abstract_minimalism_fra #tinyplanetbuff#abstracto
Today I was playing with my polar landscape app, generated several interesting "planets", five of which I posted here today.
The original image is of a slot canyon located in the Navajo Reservation near Page, AZ named Antelope Canyon. The polar landscape filter just added some interesting bends to the ridges and colors.
As always, thanks for stopping by to view, and also for any comments and faves.
Tiny Planets, AlienSky, and Juxtaposer. Union Pacific locomotive and tracks in Tucson, AZ.
Thank you, Mr. Johnny Cash, for the inspiration.
For his next album, Holt Lennox branches out into a more lyrical, poetic mood, taking samples of orchestral pieces from classic film soundtracks and remixing them with synthesized drumbeats and delicate guitar licks (supplied by his frequent collaborator, Operetta Fontaine) to create a romantic heartbeat.
With the severity the wind was blowing the sand the other day this twisted may have occurred naturally!
Thought I'd change it up a bit and twist myself as if i wasn't already with all that stuff hanging off of me. This was taken in April/12. We were on our way to Ward's Island for a jazz concert at The Rectory. My friend Samantha Clayton was performing. This was pre surgery and by the end of the afternoon my shoulder although in a sling was rather sore....but worth it, he he he.
Samantha will be performing again on February 1/13 at Harlem East, 67 Richmond St E., Toronto. Enjoy dinner while listening to Samantha perform.

The original image is of the Grand Tetons that we took while visiting a few years back. The polar landscape treatment highlighted the peaks of the Tetons, and the sky color turned out awesome.

The original image is of a rose print in a frame taken at the Mount Airy museum that is almost the exact duplicate of a print my great great grandma got for her wedding. It was hanging on a lined wallpapered wall in one of their exhibits. I love how the polar landscape treatment of the print and wallpaper.

This planet was extracted from the panorama I took of the arch while laying on my back at the center of the ring. I love how the clouds straightened out to look like the "ring" is shining...

The original image is of a few folks atop the Jackson Hole ski trail (in August) that are taking photos of the paragliders. I love how the warping of the filter left them on what appears to be a platform.

Just playing around with the iPod App "Tiny Planets, which converts a standard photo into a "polar photo" by electronically bending the image so that both edges meet. It takes some experimentation with photos to get in your head what would look good and what would NOT...
This is a polar landscape of a portrait with the Kilauea volcano crater in the background...

Woke up to snow yesterday and set out right away to get some snowy captures. This yellow arch is the entrance to the playground.
