Spider Facts: Until I took this Picture I never realized that common Spider does have 8 of eyes. And again it depends on different species of spider.. some have 6,4,2 and 0.

The lil guys were back this morning too...on a different plant. I love the contrast of colors on this plant and then all the little guys chompin away.

I'm nocturnal and I dwell in caves,

I may look scary but I'm quite harmless.

I do bite though I don't have venom.

Spread your palm & I'll fit right onto it.

To people I'm known as Whipspider,

But to my prey I'm a Tail-less Whip Scorpion! *nyaikz!!*

(this was taken in one of the caves in Bohol, Philippines)

You can tell from this close-up the terrible state of this windowframe... getting replaced soon, all being well... better make the best of it while I have the chance! hahaha!

Two curious harvest mice meet on a delicate seed head, appearing to share a moment of connection. Their intricate features and the muted background create an enchanting and heartwarming wildlife scene

A solitary moth rests on a textured glass surface, its dark wings forming a stark silhouette against the muted light, hinting at a quiet moment in nature.

We found two more salamanders! Not nearly as cool as Michelangelo, though. And don't worry, we let them go.

I spent my Labor Day in the woods with a buddy, searching for mushrooms. We managed to find all sorts of awesome things. It's a little sad how we take for granted all of the amazing things that we can find pretty much right in our back yards...

It's curious, but the most interesting thing is that it helps to break down material.

In addition, it carries the remains of other insects on its back, helping to clean up the miniature planet.
