Waterloo Bookstall from Waterloo Bridge

The Hive is constructed from around 170,000 parts including thousands of pieces of aluminium which catch the changing sunlight. There are 1,000 LED lights dotted around its core which glow and fade, while a unique soundtrack hums in response to the activity of real bees in a beehive behind the scenes at Kew.

Reminds me of the PS game

I had to go back and visit this site without people. I was hoping to get this shot with the art work on the left completed, but another aritist has decided to paint over it with a work of their own.

I think Holy wins with the self portrait above

An art installation entitled 'spectra' by Japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda lights up the night sky as part of 'Lights Out', to commemorate the centenary of Britain's involvement in the First World War.

Spectra is a beam of light generated by 49 searchlights installed in a 20-metre grid at Victoria Tower Gardens. On Monday, 4 August, the centenary of the start of the First World War, it appeared at dusk, unnanounced, for Londoners and the South East to see in the skies.

Fortnum and Mason has been in existence in the heart of London's Piccadilly since 1707. It is a five floored department store that focuses on food. Fortnum and Mason is famous for certain signatures such as their hampers, own brands teas and preserves, knickerbocker glories in the Parlour Restaurant and afternoon tea in the Saint James Restaurant, overlooking the city.

The building itself is distinctive. Decorative glass doors lead to a red carpet that takes you through the five floored building. The famous Duke Street winding staircase corkscrews its way through the centre of the building.

The future of this beautiful old part of Woolwich is still unclear. The cobbled streets alone is surely enough to treasure & protect? Mortgramit square, Woolwich, South East London.

The London Millennium Footbridge, is a steel suspension bridge for pedestrians crossing the River Thames in London, linking Bankside with the City of London. Construction began in 1998, and it initially opened in June 2000.

Londoners nicknamed it the "Wobbly Bridge" after pedestrians experienced an alarming swaying motion on its opening day. The bridge was closed later that day and, after two days of limited access, closed again for almost two years while modifications and repairs were made to keep the bridge stable. It reopened in February 2002.

I came across a number of bones in the mud which looked human whilst taking this photo, but I suspect that they maybe from the resturant below Canon Street Railway Bridge.

Ooh, I just know that something good is gonna happen

I don't know when

But just saying it could even make it happen"
