A rework on the moon eclipse : more Art than reallity

Few minutes just before the totality is the best moment to take photos because colors are fantastic.

This is not one photo but the result of the PP of several photos with different settings. I wanted to get an HDR effect for the fun. So it may not be "reallistic" (like HDR photos) but it shows well the different areas and colors of the eclipse. And yes I have applied a 90° rotation on this one to show the moon as we are used to see it.

1. the white on the top/right is not yet in earth shadow, previously it was so bright on other posted photo.

2. the blue and purple areas are the limit of earth shadow (earth atmospher)

3. the yellow/organge part on the right is in the earth shadow but far from the center of the shadow and so their is more light due to earth atmospher.

4. the deep red color on the middle and left part is the center of Earth shadow

Van fotovriend Edy krijg ik al een paar jaar achter elkaar enkele poppen van de Koninginnepage. Ik wil graag een timelapse maken van een pop die uit komt. Eigenlijk moet je daar wat meer tijd voor hebben maar gisteravond dacht ik...Het gaat lukken. Er zat een pop in het bakje die helemaal donker werd en je zag de vlinder al door het velletje. Ik heb alles klaar gezet en ingesteld. So far zo good...Maar op een gegeven moment moet je gaan slapen. Eerste werk vanmorgen...Kijken natuurlijk en ja hoor...De vlinders zat op het takje Prachtig. Spannend dus en snel op het kaartje kijken maar nee...Hij of zij had gewacht tot na foto 1000 om tevoorschijn te komen en toen was blijkbaar de batterij leeg 😎 Ik heb dit jaar nog 1 poging over en anders zal het moeten wachten tot ik met pensioen ga en veel tijd heb 🙈 De beauty op de foto krijgt straks de vrijheid en ik geniet nog een beetje van de foto want mooi...Dat is is ze ❤

The good thing about a timelapse is the time it gives you. Normally when I am photographing I take a picture, make sure it is good and then move on to find a differnt composition or see if I can imporve the previouse one.

Shooting this gives you 30 minutes of time to relax and enjoy the view.

If you didn't read the information in the first photo of this series, here it is again:

One of Denmark's northernmost lighthouses. Rubjerg Knude Fyr was built 200 meters from the 60 meter high cliffs over the North Sea and first lit in 1900.

But coastal erosion during the last 119 years has taken all but about 20 meters and the lighthouse was destined to fall down the cliff in a few years.

But thanks to a clever solution the lighthouse was put on wheels instead and this morning October 22, 2019 at 9AM, and for 6 hours the lighthouse was moved 65 meters back from the cliff, which gives them about 40 more years to figure out a permanent solution.

The lighthouse has not been operating since 1968, when the light was not visible for the ships any longer.

- 367 single pictures

- 15 sec exposure time per pic

Shoot at a full moon night.

Hard moment to get a nice photo because the moon is so dark, so I used different photos of the moon and one photo for the stars (very slow shutter speed).

So it may not be "reallistic" (like HDR photos) but it shows better the eclipse. And yes I have applied a 90° rotation on this one to show the moon as we are used to see it.
