The 10k Mast Race in Bolton saw this chap win the race by a country mile. This shot was in the first mile and he already had a big lead over all the field. Here he is nearing the top of Smithills Dean Road.

Today, I took my daughter with me for the final day (of 5) of the Hell of a Hill event at Rivington.

It was a good thing as I had her to hold her hand out for 'high 5s for power boosts' for the runners. She duly complied as did many of the runners. It's the little moments like this that will stay with me forever and I hope that one day she might be inspired and take up a sport.
