Yay. We are done! Whew. I'm going to miss it, but my poor house needs cleaning badly.

Chipboard Letters: Basic Grey; Grungeboard Numbers: Tim Holtz; Paint: Ranger.

My manly card. Used one of Jennifer;s inking techniques where you use Tim Holtz ink and emboss with Tim Holtz distress powders....some rubs off revealing the ink colour beneath. In this case I used Broken China ink with Peeled Paint distress embossing powder.

Hero Arts stamps: %s154 Three Ferns, CL267 Card Messages, and S5141 Four Leaf Grid.

Sharing cards I made with the Harvey die from Tim Holtz,

I've been painting and aging furniture. I use acrylic paint, then stamp pads by Tim Holtz to get the aged effect. Although I do like clutter, this won't all be in this room, lol.

Prompt: portrait; Tim Holtz Salvage and Chitchat stickers, black gesso (background), 3"x5" index card

Another experiment. As the week's theme specified stamps, stickers and tape, I decided to see if I could create a portrait using the color values and tones available from a collection of stickers I had on hand (mostly license plates, one vintage image as it was the largest sticker in the bunch and "chitchat" words).

This is my creation for the 12 tags of 2015 / June.

Well all day yesterday I pulled out black and white papers, embellishments, ribbons, I even stamped some white on black and black on white images BUT nothing came together!!!! I guess I really am a REAL colour gal :) So I jumped ahead a few days.

Just a quick tag card trying the new technique from Jennifer's Week 2 Part 1 video where you add UTEE to a flower...it really darkerns the flower colour! Tag also has Week 1 technique of water stamping.

HA stamps:S5141-Four leaf Grid, CL298- Scattered Leafs, CL129- Anytime Messages, and LP-128 Artistic windows.

Tim Holtz inks:Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, andBroken China.

I fell behind so I did 2 cards using the same stencil, texture paste and embossing powder. This one is on a background of homemade tissue paper (Like the Tim Holtz kind) using stamps and archival ink. I have several stamps from my polymer clay stash from back in the 90's when Asian themed art was so popular. I may make more but using deli paper because the tissue paper is so fragile. I like how the 2 cards are totally different looks.

Tim Holtz Sizzix Christmas Cutouts Thinlits Dies

Hero Arts Christmas Holidays Stamp and Cut (sentiment)

I used a Tim Holtz die in my Big Shot and adapted the pattern slightly.

I'm going to have lots of fun making variations of this.

Grungebords + New tool "texture hummer" Grungeboards of Tim's tag looks real hardware! I didn't have grungeboards. So, I cheated and used real hardware:)

The skirt is felt with the Tim Holtz Christmas tree stencil inked in Festive Berries. Need to maybe redo with gold ink.

Jewelry beads by Bead Gallery and Jesse James

I have just discovered Fantastix, a great way to use tim Holtz distress inks to colour small images, just dip the blank pen tip in the inks and colour away!

First of all I stamped the Old letter writing in memento art print brown ink, when dry I then stamped with versamark the large blossom and then sprinkled Stewart Gill intergold embossing powder over the top. I then coloured the flowers and leaves with distress inks.

I used 2 Christmas die sets from Tim Holtz to make this card. One from this year and one from last.

Hi everyone!

This is for Hannah's Operation Write Home (card drive for the soldiers) Read more about it here:

jorgaunnasplaceoffascination.blogspot.com/2010/04/owh-car...

It's a busy layout, so I wanted it to be flat; everything except the popped toast was stamped on a single piece of cardstock, using the masking technique.

Thanks Hannah for organizing this drive!
