I saw her from across the street.... from the cafe I was hanging out with my friend Kristina. She was so gracious and beautiful, all there by herself, staring at the people walking by under the sun... that I couldn't help but cross the street all the way towards her to take a photo and head back to the cafe... She TOTALLY saw me... but she didn't seem to care.
And there she stood, sitting on the stairs of the now sadly disappeared SAINT VINCENT HOSPITAL, for at least 20 minutes more...

Taken with a 3Gs iPhone using Hipstamatic app (John S + BlacKeys Supergrain), and processed with TiltShiftGen app and CameraBag app (Mono)
Shot of my dog Stella, taken with my new favorite iPhone app -- TiltShiftGen. It makes a silly little iPhone pic look like it's been taken with a tilt-shift lens. Pretty amazing. More examples to follow.

Yes, these are in LA.
Taken with an iPhone, sharpened in Photogene, purple and blurred in Tiltshiftgen.

I have been anxiously waiting to post photos taken with my iPhone, but I felt that I had to get photos posted from the USA and Japan trips first. Now that those sets are pretty much complete, I'm posting different bits from here and there.
This one was taken at a friend's cottage last September. September is not a summer month in Finland, but I thought the title suits the mood here.
