This is our bathtub/shower tile. It is going to be white 4x4 tiles and then there will be a decorate band towards the top of (maybe 2 or 3 white tile rows down) with these 2x2 colored glass tiles arranged in this order. This is all sitting on top of the 12x12 floor tile which is peeking through at the top (just cause I set them on top of it)

We have six dogs.

Yes SIX DOGS.

Four Chihuahua's and two Shiba's.

We both work during the day and all these dogs are stuck in the house for around 11 hours.

No doggie doors here. because of the cats.

They only have access to areas where there is tile. And we put down puppy pads every day and for the most part they go on them, but they don't always. Especially the older Chihuahuas.

So you can imagine what our tile looks like.

I do scrub it every weekend but it needed a professional job done. Today was the day and it looks like new again.

$235.00 later.

Oh the joy of dog ownership.

I'll take cats anyday.

We have rest beneath the wings of the Shechina. A Hebrew quotation...the Shechina is often translated as the female spirit of God. Raku fired.

Laying out this floor turned out to be really easy. Since the tiles are huge (12" x 12"), it is really easy to lay them out in a way the avoids small pieces. This is because if you have a third of a large tile, it is still a nice big piece of tile and doesn't look out of place.
