What a pity these were all that was left of Greyfriars old floor...seems we don't make tiles like these anymore, I can't imagine in 600 years tiime anybody mounting the B&Q efforts in a frame.

Medieval tiles at Wootton.
The village of Wootton is located three miles north of Abingdon, and five miles south of Oxford. The village is the site of the newly refurbished Wootton Business Park, and two new housing estates.
Wootton borders a number of smaller villages and hamlets, which are Dry Sandford, Cothill, Henwood, Lamborough Hill and Boars Hill. A few shops are based in Wootton, and as well as two convenience stores, a pharmacy, a chip shop and post office, there is also a dentist and minor doctors surgery (uncommon in a village of this size), a hairdressers, and sign-a-rama and doors of distinction outlets.

Childrey is only a stone's throw up the road from the excellent church at Sparsholt and although this must have been
my second visit I made the most of it, could have done with a ladder for a better view of the medieval
glass.I took some of the old floor tiles, what a pity so many churches did not preserve their old floors.
Stanford Dingley, Berkshire St Denys
Situated south of the M4 below the Berkshire downs near Newbury, this little church is flint built with a brick chancel, it has some indistinct wall-paintings and some touched up decorative work, a lovely old south door and a couple of good brasses. Above all is its situation and the churcyard covered in snowdrops. The brick chancel is of 1768 by Kelly. Described in Pevsner its interior is more interesting than eloquent. The paintings date from the same period as those at nearby Ashampstead. There are some very unusual Encaustic bricks (not tiles) set into the rspond of the chancel arch, I've not seen anythging quite like these and they alone make the place worth a visit. There are also two brasses one mounted on the wall in the south aisle.

Muse & Inspiration are as ONE, to me.
It has no human form, no figure to it.. It is an abstract state of mind, as I personally sEE it.
Inspiration is a strong urge to express and create in certain moment..
It can be immediate, or after a while ( even years).
Muse or inspiration is the POWER of enthusiasm, or the need to bring out of myself, what I observe, , sense, feels... With my all senses.
Timing of creation, can be at the exact precise moment, as I felt the "LIGHT" of inspiration, or sometime after.
My muse to create is not depend in the other, and therefore my ability to create or being creative, is depending upon myself totally.
Reflecting my life ( and not for the first time) at different times, finding no connection usually between love to one and creating.
Some of my significant work during my life was done without specific "love" figure as the muse.
Perhaps muse to me is the UNIVERSAL LOVE, That reside inside me and wackes up any minute, I sense it.
Muse, to me is LIFE.
AND, LIFE is the endless possibilities of inspiration, that I feel everyday of my life.
